Constructed with 14-gauge steel, this safe features a composite 5-inch thick door that includes a total of two layers of fire-board. The door opening measures 53 1/4 inches in height and 15 7/8 inches in width. The walls, ceiling, floor, and door jambs are also equipped with a double layer of fire-board.

The safe is secured with a total of 10 solid steel locking bolts, each measuring 1.5 inches in diameter and nearly 2 inches long. Of these, 7 are chrome-plated active bolts, with an additional 3 inactive bolts on the hinge side, providing bolt coverage on all 4 sides.

The locking mechanism features a 3-way direct drive lock and bolt system, with a drill and ballistic-resistant hard plate to protect the lock from being drilled or manipulated. An internal spring-loaded re-locking bolt is designed to secure the safe in case the lock is compromised during a burglary attempt.

In the event of a fire, a heat-activated expandable door seal is engineered to seal out smoke and water, expanding up to 8 times its thickness to provide extra protection.

The safe's exterior boasts a semi-gloss textured powder coat black finish, accented with silver pin striping and a polished chrome lever handle. The interior is fully upholstered in grey and features a two-section gun rack that can accommodate up to 8 long guns per section, as well as 4 adjustable and removable shelves for additional storage.

Included with the safe are a Dry Pack 200-gram rechargeable dehumidifier and an automatic interior LED lighting system that activates when the door is opened and turns off when it's closed.

The safe is also E.M.P. proof, meaning that in the event of an electromagnetic pulse attack, the keypad and circuitry can be bypassed with a high-security double-bitted key to maintain full access and functionality.
